    Mixed Fruit Cookies | Karachi Biscuits

    Eggless Mixed Fruit Custard Cookies also called Karachi Biscuits that are super delicious and so easy to make.

    Everyone needs to have this Mixed Fruit Cookie recipe in their arsenal for those times when you have no eggs left in the house. These are truly out of this world delicious.

    Let's walk through how to make Mixed Fruit Custard Cookies.

    Ingredients for Mixed Fruit Cookies or Karachi Biscuits

    Ingredients for Karachi Biscuits

    All purpose Flour

    Custard powder - use Vanilla flavor only

    Sugar - Use Powdered or also called Confectioners sugar

    Butter - Unsalted - There are two different temperatures. Please see ingredients carefully in recipe card

    Pineapple extract and Rose water - for flavor

    Milk - For mixing

    Mixed fruit- also called tutti fruity - You can find this a grocery store such as Jewel or Indian stores

    Baking powder and Baking soda

    Salt

    Instructions for Mixed Fruit Cookies or Karachi Biscuits

    In a large bowl, mix All purpose flour, Custard powder, salt, Baking powder and Baking Soda together.

    Strain this mixture through a strainer. Add Mixed fruit/Tutti Fruity to this mixture, mix well and keep aside.

    Prep for Karachi biscuits

    Using a stand mixer or a hand mixer, cream the Butter. Make sure Butter is at room temperature.

    Add the butter to the dry mixture. Make sure to scrape the sides of the bowl to take all the butter.

    Knead the dough using your hands.

    Make a roll as shown and wrap it in a plastic wrap.

    Prep for karachi biscuits

    Freeze the dough for 15 minutes minimum or refrigerate for one hour.

    Start the oven to 350 degrees F.

    Cover the baking tray with parchment paper as shown.

    Remove the dough from the freezer and cut it to make 15 cookies of equal size.

    Place on the Cookie tray.

    Bake for 15 minutes.

    • ⅛ tsp. Salt
